This is me on the Silver-Spur Dude Ranch in Bandera, Texas on my birthday last year.  My husband and youngest son and I had a blast with the cowboys and the owners of this awesome guest ranch.  What a great way to spend my birthday once again.

Life as the mother of three sons is never dull.  As of this writing we are celebrating our oldest son Ian's acceptance into law school and our second son (the Marine) completing his second year of college.  He did a tour in Iraq last year and we were blessed to have him return home to us in October safe and sound.  Third son, the "baby" CJ starts high school in the fall.  One of the best parts of having sons I've discovered is the girl's they bring home.  I am so proud to get to know their girlfriends and to welcome them into our home.  These ladies fit in our life as if they were always there and that's a lot of fun.

We are also sharing our home these days with an oversized siberian husky puppy called Nico.  He's 60 pounds of rambunctious 18 month old puppy and he keeps us hopping and the cats in a perpetual state of annoyance.  There's nothing like a large puppy to make your home a bit crazy.
